To support the success of INC-5, the Ministry of Environment (ME) and Korea Environment
Corporation (K-eco) will host a landmark event, Rethinking Plastic Life, during the period
to serve as a dynamic platform for global discourse on resource circulation and
exploration of innovative strategies for international cooperation.

Rethinking Plastic Life will offer a wide range of events, promotional activities, and
campaigns for the participants: Forums and seminars with participation from international
organizations, academia, and NGOs; financial and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR)
consultations tailored to the needs of developing nations; exhibitions showcasing government
policies and technologies related to resource circulation and the circular economy; and
a “Plastic-Free week” initiative.
